When priests have the gall to support an amendment advocating for the murder of a created subclass of unborn babies, but blame voters for rejecting it. Tell me, fathers, how does advocating to murder some babies "uphold the dignity of every person" and "protect the most vulnerable among us"?
It is deeply sinful to create scandal among the faithful. Amendment 3 was not a pro-life amendment. Saying it was does not make it so. I would beg the Catholic Church in Missouri to support equal protection and personhood bills in the Missouri Legislature.
Genuflecting before secular groups like Missouri Right to Life and Her Health, Her Future is beneath the dignity of the bishopric and the priestly vocation. I do pray that God strengthens the resolve of the Missouri Catholic Church and faithful to uphold the sanctity of all humans, born and unborn.
