The Dark Place

From: X

By Gretchen Garrity

"What I'm saying is that Queer Theory promotes pedophilia--Queer Theory itself." -- Derrick Jensen
The last two presidents of the American Library Association, Emily Drabinski and current President Cindy Hohl, epitomize the problems in our libraries today. Drabinski, self-described as Queer and Marxist, has written and spoken numerous times about the need to "queer" the library catalog, about socialist organizing in libraries, and about the ALA's opposition to restricting access to books/materials based on age (meaning minors.)

Watch author Derrick Jensen (who is by no means conservative) discuss the link between Queer Theory and pedophilia in the video below. The discussion begins at the 1:50:00 mark and continues for about 15 minutes. Ironically, his talk was held at the Eugene Public Library.

Here are some books described as Queer in the Christian County Library:

  1. Queer ducks (and other animals) : the natural world of animal sexuality
  2. Queen's English (Young Readers' adaptation)
  3. Ash's Cabin
  4. Icarus
  5. Other Ever Afters: New Queer Fairy Tales
  6. Love that story : observations from a gorgeously queer life
  7. Gender Queer
  8. Real queer America : LGBT stories from red states
  9. Queer : the ultimate LGBT guide for teens
  10. The New Queer Conscience
  11. The Queer Bible: Essays
  12. Queer and fearless

MORE ON THE ALA CONNECTION

Current Ala President Cindy Hohl, who is a member of the Santee Sioux Nation, is also like-minded when it comes to providing "all access" to every individual: "There has never been a better time to serve our communities within the roles of librarianship and we stand united in our mission to ensure equal access to information for all,” said Hohl.

Hohl is also committed to providing a "...comprehensive library guide [to] focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and antiracism practices in libraries highlighting welcoming spaces, belonging for all and sustainability for future generations of library staff and users."

Under Hohl's leadership (she worked in marketing before becoming a librarian), the ALA is currently embarking on a public relations campaign to boost its image and gain support. The campaign is focusing on the following:

"Contributions will help advance key ALA initiatives including:

  • Library funding: The ALA advocates for funding in the halls of Congress and state and local governments.
  • Library grants: The ALA provides grant opportunities to small and rural libraries.
  • Right to read: The ALA champions everyone’s right to read, without censorship.
  • Internet for all: The ALA advocates for broadband funding."

Note the emphasis on "everyone's right to read, without censorship."

This is a fake issue. There is not a problem with First Amendment rights in libraries.

The problem with the ALA is that it purposely conflates free speech rights of adult citizens with access restrictions on minor children and the rights of parents to curate the materials their children are exposed to. There are NO ADULTS who are denied access to whatever books/materials they want to have access to in the library.

The extremists at the ALA and their cohorts in libraries all across the nation are scamming citizens in order to provide children with age-inappropriate materials. To be specific, they are the pushers of transgender ideology, along with their comrades in the publishing industry.

For an idea of how transgenderism is pushed on children, here is a sampling of such books in the Christian County Library:

  1. The Pronoun Books, for ages 3 and under (Tags: Gender, Gender Identity, Gender studies, Diversity, Early Reader)

  5. My Moms Love Me, for ages 3-5. (The baby is described as "ungendered" in a review on the Coolcat website.) Publishers Weekly, May 2, 2022

  6. Julian is a Mermaid, for ages 4-8 years. (Gender non-conforming)

  7. Julian at the Wedding, for ages 4-8 years. (Gender non-conforming)

  10. It Feels Good to be Yourself, for ages 4-8 years. (Tags: Gender Identity, Transgender)

  11. It’s Okay to be Different, for ages 3-6 (Social Emotional Learning)

  12. I Love You Because I Love You, for ages 4-8 years (Tags: Gender Identity, Social Justice, Harmony)

  17. Anne: An Adaptation of Anne of Green Gables (sort of), ages 8-12 years (Tags: LGBTQIA, Relationship, Graphic Novels)

  18. A Snake Falls to Earth, for ages 10-14 (Tags: Asexual, Climate Change, Magic, Spirits)

  19. Identity: A Story of Transitioning, for ages 11 and up (Tags: Gender, Juvenile, Graphic Novel)

  20. Beyond the Gender Binary, for ages 12 and up (Tags: Social justice, Gender Theory, Gender Nonconforming, Queer Studies, Gender Fluid)

  21. Stay Gold, for ages 14 and up (Tags: Transgender, Coming of Age, Coming Out, Bullying)

  22. I Was Born for This, for ages 14 and up (Tags: Transgender, Mental Health, Romance)

  23. The Honeys, for ages 14 and up (Tags: Gender Fluid, Thriller, Horror, Paranormal)

  24. The Feeling of Falling in Love, for ages 14 years and up (Tags: Transgender, Romance, Homophobia)

These books seek to normalize the idea that one can change one's sex, and many are specifically geared toward young children. The deeper one looks into the motives behind this dark movement, the more frightening it gets. Here are some of the motives that have made gender ideology so prominent:

1) To promote "Queerness," which is a tactic used to overturn anything that has traditionally been understood as normal, i.e., heterosexuality, nuclear family, etc. It's the QT+ in the LGBTQ+ acronym.

2) To benefit the medical-industrial complex with on-going, lifetime procedures, medicines, and mental health care.

3) To move humanity toward transhumanism by destroying biological truth/reality and then normalizing technological "enhancements" that ultimately intends to move society to a new form of humanity.

And,

4)  To satisfy the sexual depravity of mentally ill individuals.

That last point...

"Transgenderism is directly connected to pedophilia, and the use of "puberty blockers" on children - drugs designed to chemically castrate sex offenders - is such an obvious example that it should be the only one needed." -- Genevieve Gluck

Journalist Genevieve Gluck has written extensively on the links between pornography, transgender ideology and pedophilia. She has plumbed the depths of how pornography, hand-in-hand with transgender ideology has pushed the limits of sexual behavior to the point that irrevocably affecting the puberty of children through puberty-blockers and cross-sex hormones, is considered a sexually desirable outcome.

The physical effects of puberty-blockers and cross-sex hormones prevents the normal adult development of genitalia, in effect permanently keeping sexual organs in a pre- or pubescent stage. Gluck illustrates the trans/pedophile link HERE (warning: graphic and disturbing).

To listen to a podcast on this subject go HERE. Gluck writes more about the connection HERE. The website Reduxx reports what the mainstream media will not.

Is it too much to ask our taxpayer-funded libraries and schools to restrict access to minors of the books and materials and websites that push this darkness? If you follow the links above, you will find yourself in a very Dark Place, where adults admit to finding porn at the age of 10 or 11, and who could not tear themselves away. The darkness engulfs them until they end up like the fellow pictured above (or worse).

And then ask yourself what kind of organizations and people would advocate for a child's "right to read"  books pushing transgender ideology? The ALA and its chapter in Missouri (the MLA) do advocate for having all materials accessible to children.

The next meeting of the Christian County Library Board of Trustees is Feb. 25, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Nixa library branch. Let's join together to make our library a place of light for children, and not of darkness.

Ungodly Stats

By Gretchen Garrity

Gays Against Groomers has written an article, "The Rise of Trans Ideology," that gives statistics you may not have seen. Well-referenced, the article points out the cult-like nature of trans ideology. I spoke recently with two school board members and an educational director at a local school district. Going by the statistics in the article, there could be anywhere from about 30 to over 80 students in the school district who would be grappling with or actually "transitioning."

The article discusses the disconnect that kids today are experiencing due to social media and a lack of community: "These children have been left and abandoned, unintentionally for the most part, to fend for themselves and are expected to thrive in a society that they do not understand, looking for their place in the world. So they start looking outside themselves for understanding, and they find it in the form of people telling them what they think they are. They hear this belief that they are trans (transgender). They hear this term over and over again, day in and day out. The truth is, they were just looking for a place to fit in and finding this group of people who seem like they are just like them."

One board member became agitated and uncomfortable with even mentioning gender issues. Another asserted it was not an issue in their school district, and when pressed asserted President Trump would fix the problem.

The school staff member stated ignorance of transgender students in the district, such as how many were actually "transitioning." This individual was not sure how many books dealing with gender ideology were in the library.

At this school district there is no stated policy, and at the last board meeting, the board refused to discuss adding a policy definition of sex as based on biology when a motion was made to bring up the subject. No one seconded the motion to discuss. No one.

Parents and citizens, you must stand up and insist that your school district attend to the cult of transgenderism. It matters not how busy you are, how late you have to work, that your children would never get involved in something like that. Ask Elon Musk how that worked for him. If it can happen to his child, it can happen to your child, your grandchild, your friends' children.

You MUST begin attending school board meetings. You MUST educate yourself on how schools, through state and federal guidelines and NGOs, are pushing gender ideology. While President Trump may be able to do some things on the federal level, it is up to citizens to ensure that your local school district is not heeding the Wormtongue advice of lawyers to avoid lawsuits by avoiding the issue. There is too much at stake.

Into the Darkness

This stuff is in your schools, and your hospitals, and your libraries. It is being pushed through government policies that trickle down to the local level, where unknowing and/or uncaring officials implement policies that are deeply harmful to the mental and physical health of children. They do this to keep the flow of federal dollars going. Parents and citizens must be aware of what is happening. Please watch and share.

Defending Children from Transgender Ideology in the Christian County Library

Tuesday, October 22, 2024

Gender Pushers

There are many books in our Christian County Library that push gender ideology on children as young as toddlers. Below this heartbreaking video is a list of close to 30 books currently in the CCL. Tonight, at the monthly CCL board meeting (6 p.m. at the Nixa branch), there will be activists who think it is evil to keep these books out of the hands of children. They will be there to call other citizens names like "Bigot," "Nazi," "White Christian Nationalist," and "Fascist." Protecting children is not for the faint of heart.

It's in the Library in Christian County

Imagine your beloved child running across this book right when he or she is at their most vulnerable point.

She, He, They, Them by David Rice

This is a book that is bright and colorful, with pictures. It looks like it's written for younger teens, or even tweens. It gives the appearance of a "history" book. This book is in Ozark Youth CCL.

The Transgender Ideology in Our Library

By Gretchen Garrity

Local citizens and parents may not be aware of the globalist, ideological agenda of transgenderism that is being actively pushed in our local library. In her essays, collected in her book, "Transsexual, Transgender, Transhuman," Jennifer Bilek describes the process that moves humanness toward a "differently" human future. Bilek explains:

"'Transgenderism' is a word acting as a social bridge between transsexualism and transhumanism...A transhumanist existence is one where biological reality, such as the border between male and female, would become irrelevant."

Bilek has been researching the gender industry for over a decade. She says, "It is becoming apparent to many now that medically assaulting children's reproductive organs will go down in history as one of the greatest scandals of all time. What is still escaping most people is the connection this medical assault on children's reproductive organs has to technology; how we are all being systematically, sexually traumatized, and conditioned to dissociate from ourselves by technology."

The rabbit hole goes very deep on a global level. But it has also reached our communities, impacting children and young people we may know. The Christian County Library is providing many books dedicated to the transgender agenda, from infants to teens. I looked at the Coolcat Catalog after perusing the last couple years of the  Rainbow Reading List, and while there are hundreds of books in our library, I have listed just under 30 books that deal mainly with gender ideology.

A few deal with subjects unrelated to gender ideology, but do show the indoctrination that is occurring in our culture. I noted a few books that have appropriated classics for children, like Anne of Green Gables, and Treasure Island. There are many of those that recast stories and characters to reflect something far different than the originals.

The links take you to the online catalog of the Christian County Library. Note the ages at which gender ideology is being promoted. If you want to read a parent's perspective on gender transitioning, go HERE. It's heartrending and infuriating. And this sort of thing is IN OUR LIBRARY where vulnerable children have access.

Young girls are particular targets and victims of gender ideology

Note how these books, thanks to a concerted effort on the part of book publishers, are geared toward children of every age. The above books were added by the library staff to their collections in just the last couple years. There are many, many more. My impromptu list was close to 160 books with varying themes. Parents should have the right to control access to them. These books are shelved with unfettered availability to children of every age.

There is a monthly meeting of the Christian County Library Board of Trustees on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m. at the Nixa library branch. Make your voice heard.

A Technocracy to Destroy Your Children

Cross posted from David Rice's Hick Christian. Click on the link for the podcast.

Amendment 3 will create a Constitutional Technocracy to Destroy Your Children by David Rice

If Amendment 3 passes, your unborn and born children will become grist for the technocratic cult of billionaires to enrich themselves as they work to castrate and cannibalize your children.

Read on Substack

"It’s hard to imagine that what we’re witnessing is an organized technological, religious cult with eugenicist underpinnings. The single most important contribution to Hilter being able to continue his holocaust against the Jews in Nazi Germany, is that people could not, would not, allow themselves to believe it was happening. It was too terrifying." from Jennifer Bilek.

If Amendment 3 passes on November 6th, it will essentially turn Christians, Parents, and other Faith Groups into outlaws in Missouri. If we, or you, oppose or stand in the way of a child’s “reproductive freedom” to transition to another sex or if we oppose a child being aborted at any stage of development, we will be criminalized for violating their constitutional right.

Amendment 3 is a Lie (Vote No)

Amendment 3 is a smokescreen for the implementation of the transgender agenda on Missouri’s children and could threaten parental rights.

• Amendment 3 would repeal the SAFE ACT passed in 2023. According to the Liberty Counsel’s Statement of Leaders Opposing Missouri’s So-Called “Right to Reproductive Freedom Initiative,” states “While the text cleverly focuses on pregnancy and abortion, the creation of a broad right toreproductive health care” expanded with the “but not limited to” text enables an interpretation thatreproductive health care” includes the right of a person to modify, eliminate or change their reproductive system. Moreover, since the language does not specifically protect the parent-child relationship, the left will continue to argue that the state must counsel, enable, and facilitate children to surgically, hormonally, or otherwise irreversibly mutilate themselves, against parental consent, under the guise of reproductive health and so-called “gender-affirming care.”

• Amendment 3 could repeal the Missouri Save Women’s Sports Act. According to Section 6, “The Government shall not discriminate against persons providing or obtaining reproductive health care or assisting another person in doing so.” According to the Liberty Counsel, “This so-called “anti-discrimination” provision could be applied to allow biological males “obtaining reproductive health care” a legal right to demand access to girls’ and women’s activities and spaces.

• Amendment 3 could give the state the authority to remove children from parents who object to their children receiving “gender-affirming” surgeries and/or medical treatment. According to the Liberty Counsel, Section 6 could create “A state-sponsored “right” that can be used by bureaucrats to mislead and kidnap children to irreversibly mutilate and forcibly sterilize their reproductive systems against parental consent.”

Amendment 3 Attack on Unborn Children and Women’s Health

• Section 2 would repeal Missouri State Statute 188.026, Missouri Stands for the Unborn Act, “Missouri Heartbeat Law,” and allow full-term and partial-birth abortion up to the moment of birth.

• Section 4 would allow abortions for physical or mental health reasons for all nine months.

• Section 5 would eliminate abortions that are required to be conducted by licensed physicians. This would allow unlicensed “Medical” professionals to perform an abortion in an unlicensed medical facility.

Amendment 3 Attack on Parental Rights and Taxpayers

• Section 3 would eliminate parental consent of minors from receiving an abortion. “Any denial, interference, delay, or restriction of the right to reproductive freedom shall be presumed invalid.”

• Section 3 would repeal HB 2634 and force taxpayers to fund abortions; HB 2634 was sponsored by Representative Cody Smith and passed in the 2024 legislative session. HB 2634 Section 188.207 states, “It shall be unlawful for any public funds to be expended to any abortion facility or any affiliate of such abortion facility.”

Pietism Definition from Defy Tyrants website.

“Now Pietism – which teaches that Christianity should be a purely private matter and that God’s law has no place in the governance of nations – always tells us that we are wasting our time when it comes to being involved in seeing that good laws are established in our nation. They mock it as mere ‘moralizing.’ They say we should just be involved in trying to save men’s souls – we should just preach the gospel. But what Pietism fails to understand is that good law – that which mirrors the law and justice of God – helps men see where they are wrong, where they have sinned against God, where they do need to repent.”

“Ask yourself this: Why did MRL endorse Jay Ashcroft for Governor approximately a year ago BEFORE the race for Governor even heated up when he has NEVER taken ANY vote for the LIFE issue? He does not have a proven record. He has nothing for voters to see. So, how does MRL know how Ashcroft will vote when pressed when he has never taken a vote unlike Senator Bill Eigel who has 8 full years of votes that are on record? Mike Kehoe has a full slate of documented votes from when he was a sitting senator for the life issue that are less than impressive. Kehoe’s position on abortion is weak, unlike Eigel’s based on live debates we have watched for 8 years and all of the votes he has taken.”

What are the Churches doing?

Sadly, in my research, not enough details were provided. The Missouri Baptist Convention and the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Catholic Diocese provided the most details. Yet, many churches are worried that they will lose members if they preach this from the pulpit or lectern.

Can they afford to lose members in a climate of scarce money? Many pastors, priests, elders, and deacons are asking the wrong question.

In a culture that is turning against children and moving openly and gleefully toward child sacrifice, can they stay silent and not fear the judgment of God?

The Art Club Movie

This is a must watch documentary about a family whose lives were turned upside down when their daughter's school began transitioning her without their knowledge. It all began with the Art Club.

"Kevin Lundberg, along with the Lee family, have spent the last year producing this first-hand account of their family’s experience with public school indoctrination and the transgender social contagion.

This film takes an intimate look at this important issue, incorporates expert testimony, and offers advice for any parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or friend to protect the children in their lives and stand up for truth."
