Gays Against Groomers interviewed James Lindsay about the underlying meaning of Queer--one of the letters in the LGBTQA+ acronym. Lindsay has co-authored a book, "The Queering of the American Child," that explains the political goals of Queer Theory. Early in the interview, Lindsay tells us that the Q letter in LGBTQA+ is "hiding behind the other letters...and is using the LGBT (but not Transgender) as human shields." Fascinating information, and important to know as our local library has numerous books (see them below the videos) that push this indoctrination on children.

 

Incidentally, the American Library Association's former president, Emily Drabinski, wrote an academic paper titled, "Queering the Catalog: Queer Theory and the Politics of Correction."

Library Board Minutes Tell a Story

Board Minutes of July 26, 2021

The attorney for the Christian County Library Board of Trustees has sued the Board for allegedly violating its bylaws for election of officers at the August 27, 2024 meeting. See HERE. The board’s attorney, Harry Styron, is representing the board in the suit against...the board.

Although the original complaint named board Secretary Janis Hagen as the plaintiff along with the “Christian County Library District,” that has since been amended to name only the Library District, which in essence, is the governing body—the Christian County Library Board of Trustees.

While officer elections are mandated in the bylaws for December, the bylaws do not specifically prohibit officer elections at other times of the year. Indeed, when occasional vacancies and July trustee appointments occur the Board has held elections then, as recently as 2023.

It makes sense that officer elections would also occur in July since the Christian County Commission appoints library board members each year at that time, or whenever a vacancy occurs.

However, the lawsuit revolves around the attempt to prevent the newly-elected board from assuming their positions.

BACKGROUND HISTORY

At the July 26, 2021 board meeting Secretary Janis Hagen was absent, and a board vacancy prompted an election of officers that included leaving the office of President vacant until December, and to have Trustee Hagen remain in her position as board secretary.

Listed under Old Business, a vice-president and treasurer were elected, as well as a member-at-large. The minutes read exactly as follows:

“Election of Board of Trustee Officer Positions for Remainder of 2021.”

Each of five positions is then noted, with accompanying explanation. The full slate of officers (as well as the member-at-large position) was listed to be elected, although the Board decided not to elect a president due to the board vacancy. Three positions were elected and one position remained the same.

At the July 25, 2023 Board meeting, a president, vice-president, and treasurer were elected. Hagen remained as secretary. The following December meeting was a reaffirmation of the same slate.

The board attorney, therefore, has sued the board for doing what it has already been doing for several years. 

Why now?

At the September 24, 2024 board meeting, the board voted to amend the bylaws to specifically state that officer elections can occur at any time of the year, as warranted. The annual mandated election of officers will remain as well, but in July instead of December. This affirms what has already been occurring in the last few years.

THE MISSOURI SUNSHINE LAW

One other issue mentioned in the lawsuit is a purported violation of the Sunshine law. Because the August agenda called for a vice-president election, and not typically “officer elections,” the lawsuit claims the public was not properly notified. The Missouri Sunshine law states, “All public governmental bodies shall give notice of the time, date, and place of each meeting, and its tentative agenda, in a manner reasonably calculated to advise the public of the matters to be considered…”

Since officer shuffles often happen, even if only one officer is slated to be elected, the library staff member who wrote the agenda would have better served the public and the Board by using the term “officer elections.” The question then, was the public “reasonably” advised of a board election?

Incidentally, the library board has often elected members to the Member-at-Large position. However, that seems to have ended with the appointments of Diana Brazeale and Echo Schneider in 2023.

The Transgender Ideology in Our Library

Local citizens and parents may not be aware of the globalist, ideological agenda of transgenderism that is being actively pushed in our local library. In her essays, collected in her book, "Transsexual, Transgender, Transhuman," Jennifer Bilek describes the process that moves humanness toward a "differently" human future. Bilek explains:

"'Transgenderism' is a word acting as a social bridge between transsexualism and transhumanism...A transhumanist existence is one where biological reality, such as the border between male and female, would become irrelevant."

Bilek has been researching the gender industry for over a decade. She says, "It is becoming apparent to many now that medically assaulting children's reproductive organs will go down in history as one of the greatest scandals of all time. What is still escaping most people is the connection this medical assault on children's reproductive organs has to technology; how we are all being systematically, sexually traumatized, and conditioned to dissociate from ourselves by technology."

The rabbit hole goes very deep on a global level. But it has also reached our communities, impacting children and young people we may know. The Christian County Library is providing many books dedicated to the transgender agenda, from infants to teens. I looked at the Coolcat Catalog after perusing the last couple years of the  Rainbow Reading List, and while there are hundreds of books in our library, I have listed just under 30 books that deal mainly with gender ideology. 

A few deal with subjects unrelated to gender ideology, but do show the indoctrination that is occurring in our culture. I noted a few books that have appropriated classics for children, like Anne of Green Gables, and Treasure Island. There are many of those that recast stories and characters to reflect something far different than the originals.

The links take you to the online catalog of the Christian County Library. Note the ages at which gender ideology is being promoted. If you want to read a parent's perspective on gender transitioning, go HERE. It's heartrending and infuriating. And this sort of thing is IN OUR LIBRARY where vulnerable children have access.

    Note how these books, thanks to a concerted effort on the part of book publishers, are geared toward children of every age. The above books were added by the library staff to their collections in just the last couple years. There are many, many more. My impromptu list was close to 160 books with varying themes. Parents should have the right to control access to them. These books are shelved with unfettered availability to children of every age.

A Billion Dollar Industry in Your Local Library

The Christian County Library's September 2024 newsletter features some titles new to the library. Among them is the graphic novel anthology "Indiginerds." Geared to children ages 12-18, the collection of stories is described in the Coolcat online catalog as "First Nations culture is living, vibrant, and evolving, and generations of Indigenous kids have grown up with pop culture creeping inexorably into our lives. From gaming to social media, pirate radio to garage bands, Star Trek to D&D, and missed connections at the pow wow, Indigenous culture is so much more than how it's usually portrayed. INDIGNERDS is here to celebrate those stories!."

The classification genres Indiginerds include "Indigenous peoples, social life and customs, comic books, juvenile literature, popular culture, identity (psychology)," and more.

What you will not be informed of is the lesbianism (sapphic love), gender ideology, Two-spirit, trans-femme, queer themes, and Critical Race Theory threaded throughout the graphic novel.

These kinds of books are being published by the hundreds every year and funneled into libraries, including the Christian County Library. In her book "Transsexual, Transgender, Transhuman," journalist Jennifer Bilek details this process. She writes:

"In less than a decade, the 'transgender human rights movement', replete with their own NGOs, has morphed from 'born in the wrong body' to 'gender identity disorder', to 'gender dysphoria', to 'gender incongruence', to 'gender identity', to 'gender expression', complete with lines of make-up, fashion and body scars."

She goes on:

"Should it be a surprise that there is now a contagion among young women wanting to have their healthy breasts amputated? Is is possible that they are absorbing the messages that promote dysphoria as progressive, cool, and edgy by media conglomerates selling this exact message?"

The media conglomerates publish and sell these books in order to spread the message that sex is on a spectrum that seems to have no end. New genders are being "discovered" every day. Whatever random thought comes into a 13-year-old kid's mind is to be capitalized upon by a billion-dollar gender industry of puberty blockers, surgeries, psychology, and more.

Bilek writes, "While the media inundates us with these messages...gender ideology activists and their NGOs supporting the construct of 'synthetic sex medical expressions' are depathologizing this monstrosity and attempting to sell the public the idea that sex exists on a spectrum, that human sexual dimorphism is a contruct..."

Finally, Bilek writes, "We must understand that this apparatus of the gender industry is being strategically driven by capital, technological developments, and the MIC [Medical Industrial Complex] through all our institutions, corporations, and governments. While we are all arguing about what identity means as it is overlaid with sex-role stereotypes, the elites are running away with human sex. They are violating the boundary between male and female, opening markets in which our essential humanity becomes a-sky-is-the-limit market to be mined."

Since there has been citizen involvement in the library regarding the many books that should not be placed in the children's or teen sections of the library, the Coolcat online catalog has gotten very cunning about how books are being described and marketed. It has become difficult to determine if a book is really just nerdy indigenous kids growing up, or characters in a billion dollar industry that operates with diabolical efficiency to affect children in communities everywhere.
